The federation only counts the Süper Lig years, so rival fans will tell you 19. In Kadıköy, it's 28.
- Sarı lacivert means yellow and navy blue. The fans are the Sarı Kanaryalar, the Yellow Canaries.
- Fener means lighthouse and bahçe means garden. The club is named after the neighbourhood, which is named after the lighthouse on the point.
- Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium has a sponsor's name on it these days, but everyone just says Saracoğlu.
- An expansion to about 64,000 seats has been approved. Don't be surprised by cranes.
- Games against Galatasaray are the Kıtalararası Derbi, the intercontinental derby. The whole city picks a side.
